Job Description
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in mechanical design and detailing, specifically with store fixtures and POP displays.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Design.
Software Proficiency: Deep knowledge of SolidWorks and related design software.
Material and Process Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of materials and production processes relevant to store fixtures and POP displays.
Sheet-metal Expertise: Extensive experience in sheet-metal design and construction.
Responsibilities:
Design and Engineering: Create detailed production drawings for the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of retail store fixtures and POP displays.
Documentation:Produce and manage required documentation for internal departments to secure approvals, quotes, and facilitate production.
Revision Management: Ensure all revisions and corrections are accurately updated in the model and that all documents remain organized and current throughout and after the production cycle.
Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal departments.
Sheet-metal Expertise: Extensive experience in sheet-metal design and construction.
Skills:
Ambitious Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
Pressure Management: Capable of working under pressure and meeting critical timelines.
Comprehension of Technical Documents: Proficient in understanding architectural drawings, technical specifications, and scope of work documents.
