Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Technology to lead our software engineering efforts in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of advanced technical solutions, guide a talented team of engineers, and align our technology roadmap with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong technical background, exceptional team-building skills, and a passion for solving complex problems strategically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions using Python, APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and GitLab processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Drive the implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) systems for secure and streamlined operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop and execute a strategic technology vision that supports organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology initiatives with market needs.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, system performance, and operational excellence in a high-paced environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, API development, and GraphQL.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
  • Deep knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) systems and security best practices.
  • Proven team-building and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
  • Comfortable thriving in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business priorities.

Experience:

  • Likely 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership roles.
